Buying advice?

I'm getting a MacBook to run eCW using Parallels and (probably) Dragon Naturally Speaking.

1. Is it there any advantage to getting Parallels and Win XP separately as opposed to buying a package with these already installed such as Macmall offers?

2. If purchased separately, I believe I need the retail (more expensive) Win XP license, not the OEM license, correct?

3. Any suggested online retailers?
